Joined a 3 hour swing class.. As usual, the experience was fantastic. Instead of just telling people what to do, there is a thorough explanation of how and why. This is transformative. As with anything, if you understand the reasoning, then the implementation is so much easier. I have always thought that Real Golf is exceptional. I am so pleased that they are going from strength to strength.
I attended the intensive chipping class and found it incredibly helpful, very impressed at how Richard zeroed in on what I needed to work on and his explanations were very clear. I knew some of the weaknesses in my technique but didn’t know how to remedy them until now. Thanks for giving me so much more confidence around the greens!

I took one of Real Golf’s clinics a few months ago. I couldn’t have made a better choice. Not only was the instruction top notch, but the fusion with technology and video allowed for us to analyze my swing and make on the spot improvements. It was a fantastic few hours. I had an amazing session with Brian Green who gave a putting masterclass. Brian has an easy style, lots of useful putting drills and a good eye for what needs adjustment. Great fun and the 3 hours went by in a flash! Oh and did I mention he convinced me to putt right-handed after a lifetime of putting left-handed which has been a revelation!
I’ve been to the pitching/bunker, driver and chipping sessions. 3 hours each, 4 students but with plenty of individual contact time. The quality is high and the value is excellent. The short game ones in particular are terrific. Richard is very friendly and has a clear idea of what he wants to get across to the group and in one on one. Highly recommended.
I have now completed 3 of richard’s sessions and I am completely hooked, forgive the pun… While you will have no doubt been give tips before, what Richard does so well is explain the biomechanics behind the shot, so you suddenly understand exactly why you need to do make those changes. By then zeroing in on your key areas of improvement he fundamentally changes your game, all the time keeping it simple and enjoyable. The sessions are a mix of theory, one to one tuition and practicing his tips, and while 3 hours nay seem a long time they fly by. If you are serious about improving your game then look no further.
Thank you so much indeed for your excellent and informative Chipping Masterclass at Lee on the Solent Golf Club. Your explanations of not just “HOW to….” which was superb, but just as importantly the reasons “WHY” things happen as they do. I have every confidence that attending the class will benefit not only my scores but continual enjoyment of the game, which is so important. I certainly look forward to attending future Real Golf Courses with Richard.

We had a superb session on Saturday. Brian explains everything very well and coaches in a way that ones technique can only improve.
The groups of 4 allow for individual coaching plus key practise over 3 hours.

2 weeks on and I’m hitting straighter and further than before. Richard set me on the right path at the start of the lesson and his way of explaining what to do and importantly why, has filled me with a confidence, so that I now look forward to going to the driving range rather than dreading it.
